I have been waiting, waiting, waiting for our fingerprint appt. I have 2 e-mails asking if they received our homestudy and even though it is, apparently, there, no one hs been assigned to our "case" and our stuff is just sitting. I don't want to tick anyone there off, but I WANT THAT APPOINTMENT!!! How often do you think I can acceptably bug them? Once a week? Once a day?
I would bug them every day maybe even 2x a day. This is a child's life we are talking about.
ReplyDeleteBe blessed
I am so sorry!!!! Hang in there!!!!
ReplyDeleteMaybe you will hear something today - I will PRAY that you do!!!
Don't email them, call them. Email me if you need the number for the non-hague adoptions group. It sounds a little odd... they told us that they do not assign officers until the homestudy is received, but after they got ours we had an officer two days later. Our appt was set for July 21 and we did a walk in on July 1. I called the next day to see if it was in the system. It didn't show up for three days. Two days after that it was adjudicated and moved to the supervisor. The next day our I171h was mailed out to us. Now if only that dang postman would deliver it to me!!!!
ReplyDeleteNote... we did beg to be expedited based on Peach's grave medical condition, so perhaps that is why it has moved so quickly for us with them.
Hi:I am Erin's (Oksana's mom) Uncle Mark. If your paper problem is in the United States call your Congressman. They can work wonders...
ReplyDeleteAlso I was on anothers blog that is trying to adopt two from the Ukraine. They had a online auction. They had local businesses and friends donate products and services that were put up for auction for one week. In the comment section of each product you place your bid. After the week is up. The high bidder pays to a chip in box set up for the auction. They had about 8-10 items, and made $650. I will send you there blog address when I am on the desktop computer later this weekend...thanks..Uncle Mark
